Glass of wine = 3 oz only !!!! Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere A friend and I went to Flex Mussels PEI and we were quite disappointed. We were seated in a very small table. One of us facing the back wall. I ordered a glass of wine, barely got 3 oz for $8. The waitress said: it’s what you get! One should have ordered the bottle, as it was only $33 for 26 oz (instead of $64. if ordered by the glass...) Never in all my traveling (I did travel the world) have I ever had such a small amount of wine when ordering by the glass. Next, we ordered a serving of mussels, which we explained to the waitress that we were going to split as an appetizer. The waitress brought them with only one serving plate and after requesting a second, she took my bread plate... never bothering getting another one. I can say however that the food was good, especially the fries, a bit pricy but hey! It’s tourist season, so all the prices goes up in PEI anyway. #1 Fine Dinning Seafood Experience On Prince Edward Island Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere Best food I have ever had on Prince Edward Island, in over 20 years of vacationing here. Great Enviroment, beautiful boardwalk and ocean view. Chef Furlong is a real treat had the pleasure speaking to him during my visit. Will be back for sure! Best Mussels in PEI! Overall Food Value Service Atmosphere I know this must sound like the owner of Flex writing this, but I just can't say enough about how good these guys make their mussels. I've eaten in and taken out and these mussels are always the best. I've had mussels in many other establishments around PEI, but I'll always come back to Flex! I think they're really good at it because that's pretty much all they do! The fries are really good too - makes a perfect combo for lunch or dinner.
