I travel to Charlottetown often and have had always had exceptional food at the Selkirk restaurant. Hotel food has had the reputation of not usually being so good. But this place is different. Expert prepared food, inventive and presented well.

i have to say i greatly enjoyed the old little christos ,,,but i also have to say that when the new 1st opened i was so excited i purchased over 100$ worth of pizzas for myself and friends and was greatly disapointed ,,,the outer crust did not even look the same let alone taste the same ...it used to be a big fluffy outer crust now it is just a regular looking pizza from any pizza restaurant

there was a man who had some chili and as he was eating he noticed the beef was real crunchy. beef aint spose to be that crunchy. so he takes a couple more bites and looks at his soup and there were a cockroach in it.

Ordered the steak Med /Rare and it came back well done so they tried again and this time it was Med/well so if you are looking to get a nice steak the way you ordered it avoid this place
Zero customer service, the owner could see what was happening as he was walking around the dining room like a chicken with his head cut off but could not offer any words or answer any questions

A friend and I went to Flex Mussels PEI and we were quite disappointed. We were seated in a very small table. One of us facing the back wall.
I ordered a glass of wine, barely got 3 oz for $8. The waitress said: it’s what you get! One should have ordered the bottle, as it was only $33 for 26 oz (instead of $64. if ordered by the glass...) Never in all my traveling (I did travel the world) have I ever had such a small amount of wine when ordering by the glass.

My wife and I ate there last week for dinner and had the "famous" fish and chips. The rolls were stale and were like they had been micowaved and cooled a number of times. The boiled carrots and green beens were water logged and inedible. The fish was small, dried out and the batter was too heavy and soggy. I expect they came from a bag of poor quality frozen fish. The cole slaw was good and the fries were ok (frozen type).

In 08 I purchased a $100 gift cert. for my parents.My credit card was charged and my parents never recieved the cert. When I called to complain I spoke to Richard . He told me to have them come in and he would take care of it. They had lunch costing no more than $35. and were told everything had been taken care of. I again called Richard and asked what happened to the balance. My intention was for my parents to have a nice dinner. Richard has made no attempt to right the situation when he had promised to take care of this.Here it is almost July of 09! The next step is to call the better busine ...

Best food I have ever had on Prince Edward Island, in over 20 years of vacationing here. Great Enviroment, beautiful boardwalk and ocean view. Chef Furlong is a real treat had the pleasure speaking to him during my visit. Will be back for sure!
