"very dissatisfied" Pilot House

In 08 I purchased a $100 gift cert. for my parents. My credit card was charged and my parents never recieved the cert. When I called to complain I spoke to Richard . He told me to have them come in and he would take care of it. They had lunch costing no more than $35. and were told everything had been taken care of. I again called Richard and asked what happened to the balance. My intention was for my parents to have a nice dinner. Richard has made no attempt to right the situation when he had promised to take care of this. Here it is almost July of 09! The next step is to call the better busine ...

"Horrible experience!" Water Prince Corner Shop & Lobster Pound
| Close | More Info |
My brother and I recently had fish and chips at this tourist trap of a restaurant. I was charged an extra 4 dollars to have my small piece of fish pan fried because of the "trouble." To make the meal look substantial, I was given a huge amount of greasy, tasteless french fries. When you see a menu that's written in Japanese you know you're in for trouble. The apt. on the second floor of the restaurant had a window held up by a stick so that tells you about maintenance of the building. Restaurant is very cramped. Some customers were actually put behind a counter. We were placed in an aisle, whi ...

"Disappointing" Dayboat Restaurant
| Close | More Info |
My wife and looked forward to dinner at Dayboat because we had heard such good things about it. The food was good but not superb. What really disappointed us was the service and the noise level which was much higher than we would expect in a first class restaurant. After waiting 20 minutes for our appetizers we then had to wait over 30 minutes for our entrees. When we decided to have dessert and coffee we then had another 30 minute wait. It turned into a long evening. We know that a restaurant can have an off night and so we plan another visit in 2008. Hopefully our bad experience won't be rep ...

"Much more than a store" Water Prince Corner Shop & Lobster Pound
| Close | More Info |
Usually on Fridays on my way home, I stop by Water Prince to pick up some extremely fresh lobster and other tid-bits to cook at home for the family, but occasionally I find myself dining with my wife in their dining room or on the patio if the weather permits. The food has always been the most freshest seafood in Eastern Canada! The menu isn't huge, but it will suffice to satisfy you of your shellfish cravings for a while. Shane really knows his fish and how to cook it!

"Charming and Flavourful" Dalvay By The Sea

This historic mansion houses one of the nicest and possibly one of the best restaurants in PEI. The 100 year old dining room is host to many amazing, culinary treats that won't disappoint. I've been quite a few times with my wife or the whole family and we've always left happy. I can't think of a single bad experience, from the staff to the ambience and food, everything is top-notch.

"Fine Dining in Casual Atmosphere" Pilot House
| Close | More Info |
I recently visited PEI to visit some family and the first night we were there they took me to Pilot House for dinner. I was amazed at the clash of styles where a portion is pub like and the other a swanky, upscale dining room. I ordered the Scallops with Thai Green Curry which was excellent and not too spicy. Service was quick and polite and the ambience was intimate with a casual flare. Highly recommended.

"Good food and fun" Sims Corner

I went here the other night for a little dinner than over to the pub for some great beer on tap with some friends. We had a great time not only because of the company but also because of the great and friendly staff. The dinner was prepared perfectly having the Cajun Tenderloin Tips myself, I can say it was amazing. My friends seemed to enjoy their meals just as much. Looking forward to giving it a try for lunch one of these days!

"Incredibly Intimate" Off Broadway
| Close | More Info |
This must be the most intimate restaurant in all of Canada, never mind just PEI. I usually take my lady friends here to get better acquainted and so far it hasn't failed me yet! The food is always excellent, cooked to perfection and they also have their own sommelier, which is an added bonus to impress. After dinner you can go into the 42nd Street Lounge for a relaxing scotch or wine and enjoy some good conversation. These two rooms are the dynamic duo to a sure thing.
